I have sevral issues. 1st when I click the outlook button and launch outlook
it says it is in recovery mode. So I answer yes to open and it seems to work
fine with the exception that when I delete emails (and I have selected empty
deleted emails upon exit) and then open my email the next day the previous
day's deleted emails are back in my dleleted folder. I am running outlook
2003 that was pushed out through a server as an install. We run Microsoft
Excahnge on our server along with Microsoft Server 2003. I have tried to do
detect and correct but it does not fix this problem. Everything else runs ok.

Reread the error message; your Exchange server is in recovery mode. This
means that the cache doesn't match with the mailbox anymore. When the server
has been restored and you still get this message check your mailbox by
looking at in on-line more or use OWA.

If everything is there, close Outlook, locate your ost-file and rename it to
..old. When you now start Outlook it will create a new cache file that will
match with the server mailbox.

If not everything is there contact your admin and ask about the recovery
status. If everything that was possible has been restored and you are still
missing items you can export your cached mailbox to a pst-file and then
rename the ost-file to .old. Once resynced with the server you can import
the missing items from the pst-file.
