Hi,
I need help on the followings:
1 - I have a system running XP Pro on one 10 gig FAT32 partition and I have
another NTFS 8 gig free partition, on which I tried to install Server 2k3. I
put the CD in the CD drive and set the computer to boot from CD. The
computer tried to boot from CD but on two occasions, nothing showed. The
only message I got was "Press any key to boot from CD" after which the
computer hangs up permanently. To further clear doutbs, when first put the CD
in the drive and while the GUI is on, a window popped up and asked me if I
wanted to install Server 2k3. I understood that that CD was a bootable CD.
Any idea what was missing or went wrong and how to fix that?
2 - How to "nail down" desktop settings for all users of a computer,
regardless of their security level.
3 - Some MVP recommended Windows XP Inside Out, Deluxe Edition to master XP
Pro. I could not find that book in my country. Is Mastering Windows XP by
Minasi a powerfull alternative?
Thanks
Yba
