Several Internet Options Tabs have been suppressed

I have a user who apparently clicked a porn link that
inserted itself as a redirection page for the user's
homepage and then suppressed the Internet Options Tabs for
General, Security, Programs and Advanced. It also changed
the Privacy tab to Accept All Cookies. The user is
running Windows 2000 as a Domain User. I logged on as
local Administrator, deleted the redirection to the porn
site in the registry, checked and downloaded the
appropriate windowsupdates, ensured the browser was
patched to current levels, none of which solved this
problem. It is also important to note that the local
Admin's version of IE 6 was unaffected by the porn
redirection and it still has the full set of tabs under
Tools...Internet Options...

Any thoughts or ideas of how to get the controls back for
the user??
