At a guess, since you've provided so little information:

You'll either need to uninstall SP2 before attempting the upgrade,
or try slipstreaming SP2 into the upgrade.

How far do you get into setup? Do you get to the part where you can
delete\create partitions? And hence (re)format the drive if need be? Before
installing to that partition.
