Setup Win2K on new hard drive

P

Pam

When setup completes to 100% the following error message
comes up and setup can not continue:

Value in .SIF file used by setup is corrupt or missing.
Value 0 on the line in section [sourceDisksFiles]
with "key SP1.cab"

Please advise!

Thank you.

Try creating a new set of setup disk or better yet just boot the CD-Rom. The
set of four install disks can be created from your Win2k CD-rom; change to
the \bootdisk directory on the cd-rom and execute makeboot.exe (from dos) or
makebt32.exe (from 32 bit) and follow the prompts.
