Hi people, I need help in setting up a password during login (not
Windows' login). Booting up happens so fast and I don't know which
button to press. I'm running Win XP on my Toshiba laptop. Thanks all.

Presumably you're talking about the BIOS password. If so
then your best options are:
- Read the manual that came with our laptop, or
- Check the Toshiba FAQs

The button (or buttons) to press should be displayed very early in the
bootup process. You can stop things momentarily by pushing the "Pause"
key, probably in the upper right area of your keyboard. Then press any
key to let bootup continue.

If you can't find the sequence this way, you'll have to look in the
system or motherboard docs that came with your machine, or check the
manufacturer's website.
