Setup service parameter

Hello,

I use mysql on WinXP Prof which starts automatically as service.
But I want to start it with a special parameter. On the services box
there is a possibility to define a parameter but it works only if I
manualy restart the service.

How can I setup a permanent service parameter ?

Modify the Registry entry for the Service @
Hkey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services
Each Service Key has a sub-key called Parameters, where
you should be able to pass an argument
