I have a notebook with WinXP Home edition installed. I recently applied
the SP2 upgrade. Now I want to upgrade to WinXP Pro. The distribution
disk I have is WinXP Pro w/SP1. I ALSO have the SP2 disk. Will I have
any problem upgrading from "Home SP2" to "Pro XP1"?

I appreciate any (and all) input.

Thanks.

Note that you need a Retail (or MSDN) version in order to upgrade.

Most likely. Uninstall SP2 via "Control Panel > Add/Remove Software",
then upgrade to WinXP Pro SP1 and reinstall SP2 plus all available
updates for WinXP Pro (Windows Update site).

I will. Thanks.
