Setup New E-Mail Address

I would like to setup "hotmail" as my primary e-mail address in Outlook. I
presently have wireless broadband service.
Can I use hotmail in Outlook without changing my present .pst folder?

If so please tell me how to do it.

Hotmail no longer supports third party access to its service unless you pay
a monthly fee.
