The setup wizard is usually sufficient. You likely have a personal firewall, or
a NetBT setting, problem.

We could maybe diagnose the problem, using logs from "browstat status",
"ipconfig /all", "net config server", and "net config workstation", from each
computer. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions
precisely (download browstat!):

Richie,

Are you using a NAT router to share the connection? If so, we need every
detail, including IP addresses. Otherwise, you're wasting your time.

If you're directly connected, are you paying for 2 connections?

You're going to have to supply details here, as we aren't good at reading minds.

Both PC's are running winxp home sp2.Im useing a Hub to connect 2nd PC.The
problem is that I cant share or make a network bettew both PC's and I cant
get share printer to work either.I dont get any errors when I run the network
wizard. After I restart PC network places folder show but only on the one PC
not both.I turn off all programs when using wizard too.Hope this help and
didnt miss anything. Thanks for helping me.

OK, I'm guessing that you are paying for 2 Internet connections. You are using
DHCP and you have the 2 computers on different subnets - the first on
74.70.32.0/20, the second on 24.29.94.116/30.

You COULD work around this by using IPX/SPX for file sharing.

But you'd be better off getting a NAT router and paying for only 1 Internet
connection.

In either case, you can't have 2 computers with the same name. Unique names is
a requirement in all networking. You should (but don't have to) have the same
workgroup on both computers. You should NOT have the same NAME on both
computers.

You're getting IP addresses on two different subnets for the 2 computers. Do
both computers have Internet service? If so, then you are paying for 2
services. With the 2 computers on different subnets (which is common for dual
service), they aren't going to see each other, since NetBT broadcasts don't
route.

Both computers connect through Ethernet, so a NAT router is a good solution
here. Put both computers behind a router, and on the same subnet.
