Settings changed???

When I went to use my IE6 this morning it could not find
my home page and then I noticed that it was looking for it
on the C drive. When I type any url in the address bar
using just www.anysite.com it looks for it on my hard
drive and can't find c:\>www.anysite.com. I then used the full address as
in http://www.anysite.com and it finds it without a
problem. I changed all my settings to default in the
tools menu but that did not fix it. Any ideas??

1) Restores the missing Tabs in IE (usually spyware related)
2) Unlocks the grayed-out Home Page section
3) Removes the Administrator message in Internet Options
