I build a website which looks fine on my monitor (resolution 1024x768). On my assistants monitor it is small (her resolution is set to 1280x1024) and on a friends computer the whole page doesn't show (their computer must be set to 800x600 or 640x480). I thought that maybe this was only a problem because the person I asked to view my website had an old computer. I asked another friend who has a new laptop and this again was a problem. How do I correct this problem?

Build you pages in either
Fixed tables <760 px wide (for 800x600 screens minimum)
Or percent Width tables
