Setting up TV Signal in Media Center 2005

When I try to set up my satelitte connection for the TV in Media Center 2005
everything goes fine until I reach the point the Media Center searches for
the Set-Top Box and IR Control Cable. At this point I get an error which
states that "IR Hardware not detected" and a "Try Again" box. I don't have a
IR Control Cable and use the remote for the satelitte to change channels on
the Set-Top Box. However, I cannot bypass the detection of the IR Hardware
and move on the select the correct program guide. Is there a way to bypass
the detection of the IR Hardware and still select the correct program guide?
