setting up servers

i went to verizon's website and got the correct server settings, this is
what i get each time:

Subject 'Jacuzzi Rate Information', Account: 'verizon', Server:
'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 SIZE
20971520', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number:
0x800CCC7D

please help!

You didn't quite get the settings correct.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."
