Setting up PST files

I

Ian Crook

I am running Outlook 2000 on a home PC, and deleted
the "mailbox.pst" file.

I then tried to reopen Outlook Today and got an error
message that Outlook could not find the Oulook Today
folder as it could not find mailbox.pst file.

I ran Detect and Repair as well as all the Microsoft
updates, and the problem hasn't been fixed. I then tried
to create a .pst folder, but haven't been able to do so.

Does anyone know how to create a mailbox.pst file on a
standalone pc?

File > New > Personal Folders File.
You do not have to name it mailbox.pst. Give it whatever name you want.
