setting up my own ecommerce site, need advice!!

Mike

Hi all, I have a single product that comes in several color variations,
and would like some recommendations on web hosting companies. I have
read that yahoo and interland rank high, but I think they might be a
lot more capability than I need, as I only have one product. I plan on
obtaining a merchant account so I am also looking for some advice on
site building software for novices to set up an ecommerce site. Thanks
for the advice!! Mike

Save yourself time/money/aggravation and just use Paypal. Easy to set up especially for limited product line, and you don't have to bother about merchant accounts. You tie your Paypal account to your bank account an move money back and forth.

I used to have a couple of accounts on Yoohoo then took them off and went with a provider with better service...with techs you can actually talk to on the phone, they even speak the same language I do! Longest wait on the phone 5 minutes. I was with Yoohoo for several years and never was able to actually speak with anyone.

Frontpage is pretty easy, especially if you hang-out on this ng...lots of free help.

That's my novice advice for the day.
