setting up e-mail on vista mail

i am trying to configure my e-mail on Windows Mail and put in all my settings
as they are in XP and yet I still do not receive e-mail. It gives me the
following error.
I can send e-mail, just can't receive. Anyone help?

Account: 'ATT Mail', Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR popgate unknown command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18
