Setting Up Default Users in Outlook 2003

My wife and I share the same computer. We use a common outlook profile, but
have separate email addresses. So we both receive emails into the same
inbox. However, only one of us can be the default email account i.e.
whenever creating a new message it is created using the default user. I know
you can manually change the send from account when creating a message. I
know that I can create separate profiles for each of us and select the
appropriate one when launching outlook. Is there anyway to select a default
email account every time you launch outlook?

Not automatically within one profile. You can change it manually, though.
