Setting up a new Dial-up connection

I'm trying to set up an internet connection using a modem
(which Windows recognizes). I have Windows XP Home edition.
When I use the Connection Wizard, the option for "Connect
using a dial-up modem" is disabled/greyed. The only option
I am presented with is to "Connect using a broadband
connection that is always on". How do I get the Connection
Wizard to let me connect with the modem?

By the way, I used to connect to the internet via a LAN
card connected to a router connected to my cable modem. But
now I need to connect with a modem.

Thanks.

I'vever restord XP. However, the information found in the
link you provided fixed the problem. I may have disabled
some services in the past which was keeping me from
creating a new modem internet connection.

Thanks!
