Yes, just type the number into the box and press Enter. Unfortunately, Word
won't remember the number between sessions, so you have to type it in again
for the first envelope in each session.
A better alternative is to use the Add to Document button to put your
preferred envelope layout into a blank document, remove the non-envelope
page, and save the result as a template for envelopes. See the "Remove the
letter" section of http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/DetachEnvelope.htm for
help with that part of the process.
