Setting Password in Outlook

Every time I open Outlook it prompts me to "Enter Network
Password" even though I check the "Save this password in
your password list" box each time. I have also gone into
Tools/E-mail Accounts/View or change existing e-mail
accounts/Change and entered and re-entered it there as
well. Under "More Settings" I've tried both Use same
settings as my incoming mail server" as well as Log on
using" but nothing works.

If I manually type in the password I can receive email so
it's not the end of the world. Any updates or ideas to
address this?

Is the password dialog box empty when this occurs or is
it filled with asterisks?

It's empty each time.
