Setting Outlook 2002 Auto Archive path with .PRF file on Terminal Server

Hi all,

I'm using Outlook 2002 on a Windows 2000 Terminal Server farm.
Outlook profiles are generated using PRF files, and this works without any
problems.

The only problem we have, is that we have found no working method of setting
the Auto Archive file name and path during the profile generation. In
Outlook 2000 this was done using på setting AutoArchiveFileName=<whatever
path> in the PRF file.
Outlook by default places this file in the lokal

I've tried to mimic this behaviour in the Outlook 2002 PRF without any luck.
I've made the following changes in the PRF file :

1. Uncommented the "ServiceX=Microsoft Outlook Client" line in the [Service
List] section.
2. Added the following to Section 4 of the file :
[ServiceX]
AutoArchiveFileName=G:\Exchange\archive.pst
3. Added the following line to the [Microsoft Outlook Client] part of
Section 6 :
AutoArchiveFileName=PT_STRING8,0x0324

Can someone please help me with this problem?

Regards,
Eirik Amundsen

Please disregard the following line in the original post :

"Outlook by default places this file in the lokal"

It was not meant to be there :-)
