setting default headers and footers

I wondering if there is a way to set default headers and
footers. I would like all my spreadsheets that print to
list the path and the date produced on each sheet. Is
there an easy way to do this.

Hi
For all new workbooks and all new inserted worksheets you can create a
specific, customized template that Excel will use. The templates can
have any default settings that you want, including headers/footers

Search the Excel help on "default workbook template" for how to set
this up.

Hi

Open a new workbook and make you changes

Then save this file as book.xlt into your XLStart folder , do a find in
windows where it is on your computer.
close excel and open it again.

Every new workbook you add will have the same settings now

If you save a file with one sheet and name in Sheet.xlt then every new sheet you add
have this settings
