Headers and Footers size

Hello

I am using Office 2003, and have headers and footers on some 40 sheets that
are all the same. However as each of these sheets is set to print on page 1
of 1 the print area is different for each one.

As the print area is different the size of the headers and footers keep
changing. Is there a way to fix the font and size etc.. so regardless of the
print area size the headers and footers all remain the same size, either via
VBA or using the settings in Excel.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you and regards,

If you use Print to Fit, then everything on the page is shrunk to
accommodate the print area, including Headers and Footers.

If your headers and footers are all identical and it is important for
you to maintain the same size, then you could consider pre-printing
the paper with the headers and footers (by having a blank sheet which
is set for Headers & Footers and printing this several times), and
removing your headers and footers from the other sheets.

Hope ths helps.

Hello

Thank you for the suggestion. However this is the same thing for 40
different files, hence having pre-printed items is too costly and does not
solve the issue with page numbering as the footers.

Please advise if there are other suggestions to fix the size for this.

Thank you.
