Setting Custom Form as Default

Hello,

I have created a custom task form and set it to use as my default. I can
create new tasks using this new form and everything works fine, but when I
try to edit the task it opens a previous custom form that I no longer want to
use. Did I miss a step somewhere? I am not sure why my new form is not
showing up when I edit my tasks.

First step is always to check the value of the MessageClass property.

Did you create your new task form with separate compose and read layouts and base it on a previous form?

Yes I think I did do that. I am new to this and I am learning at the same
time I am trying to create this form. To fix this can I open my most recent
form and edit the compose and read layouts and then resave and republish
form? Is that the best way.

Thanks so much for your help.

Yes, that's the right course of action -- check the read layout on your form.
