Set Welcome Mail

Hi,

Can someone tell me if it is possible to set up a welcome mail which
each new account will receive. This funcionality is used in Outlook
Express, but I need a possibility to do that on the serverside with a
customable welcome mail. Each new account should get this mail.

If it is not possible, does anyone knows an other way?
