set up dns

Greetings,

We have 2 subnets 10.1.1.x and 10.1.2.x our Win 2k PDC is on the
10.1.1.x network. The .2 subnet is connected with a cisco router do I
have to set up dns on the domain controler on the .2 subnet as well?
or should dns be handled on the PDC only?

You don't have to but it is a good practice to have more than one DNS server
just for redundancy.
