set startup menu to default

Hello,

I unchecked all checkboxes on the startup and when I try to open the mdb
application by holding the shift key nothing happens!

Could you please let me know if it is an other way to open it?

It sounds as though you aren't holding down the shiftkey long enough.
Keep holding it down until the database window appears.

Is possible to change the the key (shift in this case) in order to open the
db window? I guess smb did that to my application!

It sounds like the shiftkey was disabled (although you didn't mention
doing that - so who disabled it?).

Anyway, try Albert's utility to enable it again. Look for
By Pass Shift Key Code at
