How to disable opening of database window by pressing SHIFT key

Could anybody pls help me out with the above issue:

While opening an Access database, if we press and hold down the SHIFT key,
the database window will open irrespective of the Startup settings. Is there
a way to bypass the SHIFT key? ie if I dont want the database window to be
opened and the application form should open whatever the user presses.
