how do you set up so that you need to type a password to open outlook from
minimized

Not possible. Lock your computer instead when you are away from your desk
and want to protect Outlook.

roady, it is available i had it done before then my computer crashed and now
i forgot how i did it, when you minimize outlook 2003 it stays over by the
clock, and when you right click it and hit open it asks you for a password
and user

Not possible. Lock your computer instead when you are away from your desk
and want to protect Outlook.

Connected to Exchange? Than it is only possible when you configure your
account to prompt for username and password and you (somehow) lost your
connection to the Exchange server when minimized. This is more like an issue
than an options :-D

i have never had a server, just verizon. it is part of the program

Connected to Exchange? Than it is only possible when you configure your
