set /a

Hey all,

Can someone remind me how to use set /a to chomp (in or out) the last
X chars from a var?

I worked it out like 10mins after posting....

set var2=%var1:~0,-4%

I forgot to set my exclusion's for AV, and all my toys have .vir - hence the above.
