ServicePack4 on cluster

Andrea

I had install service pack 4 on a cluster windows 2000 advanced server.
After this installation I see my printer on the virtual machine of cluster
from client, but when I try to connect to the printers the cluster answer
that the resource are not available.
What's the matter?
Thanks

Andrea

Andrea,

Was this working before installing SP4? (and which SP were
you running before?)

Is this printer local to one of the nodes or is it a
network printer elsewhere?

I have an issue where I have a number of local printers
set up (the same ones are set up on each node) and I use
the LPD service to create LPR ports from which I create
virtual printers that I can connect to using a Clustered
Virtual Server. With SP3 this worked find, but as soon as
I install SP4 the functionality is lost.

I expect to open an incident up with MS this week as I
need a resolution as I have many customers who want to
upgrade to SP4 but will lose the Cluster Print Spooler
functionality that they are currently using.

If I get a resolution I'll let you know (and if you find
one first please let me know)

Thanks
Kevin
