Good evening, under services there is one called: {5apdior which has no
description and is under manual start. I have not been able to find out what
this service is about. Google returns nothing. Does anyone know what this
is?
Thanks

Start | Run <type in> services.msc <enter>

under general google the executable.

Also check Dependencies see what needs it

if google doesn't show the service I'd disable it -

Thank you so much for the response. There is no executable under the general
tab and there are no Dependencies. I guess I will disable it and keep an eye
for strange behaviour!

Given that the name is meaningless, i would stroncly suggest a scan for
viruses and spyware. Also, check your list of installed programs for
things that don't loonk Kosher, and google them.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have scanned the computer for viruses as
well as spyware and so far everything is clean also no unusual behaviour
from the computer but that file is strange!
