PA Bear said:And we still don't know if OP was referring to WinXP SP3.
Colin Barnhorst said:Yes. The TechBeta testers who are the ones working with it the longest
report a 5% to 10% increase in performance. I think that is largly
anecdotal. I haven't seen benchmarks. But it does appear faster to me
too.
Of course it was XP SP3
So whats the deal.
It went to install...archived all the old files, installed the new
ones, Then an ACCESS DENIED
Then had to uninstall all the new ones and reinstall the old one, so I
guess I don't get SP3 ??
Any Ideas?
Thanks

And we still don't know if OP was referring to WinXP SP3.
PA Bear said:And how have you determined this?

PA Bear said:Dave Brehem (dgbrehm) is the OP. While Shenan appears to have had a
private conversation with Dave in which he says he was referring to WinXP
SP3, in none of Dave's three (3) posts to this thread did he identify
WinXP SP3 so how can you say "Of course it was XP SP3...Read the
posts"?...

Common sense.

Jack Ass said:It is rocket science! Messages in Windows XP.general tend to be more
about windows than Office. Does this help you.
