Service pack

When i do a windows update, some of my service packs are not being
downloaded, and when i check for download updates, it says some of my
service packs could not be downloaded, could that be due to the antivirus
program i have installed on the computer.

Yes. Disable the antivirus scanner and also any third-party firewalls
and then retry.
