Service Pack Question

Silas Poliah

Hi,

So succeeding service packs have all the info in previous service packs? I
have Win2k running SP1 and I wish to install the most current Service Pack..
will I need to install all the service pack releases, leading up to the
newest?

From what I have read, you may not want to install SP4. Sp3 with all the
post-sp3 hotfixes should be fine.

The term you are looking for is "cumulative". service packs are cumulative,
in that you dont have to install each one, since they are all rolled up into
the latest version.
