Service Pack 2

Dave

Before installing Service Pack 2 I was prepared for some quirks in Windows
XP. After installing Service Pack 1 there were some settings I had to change
back that apparently Service Pack 1 changed for me. If this happened on
Service Pack 1 I knew there would be minor setting changes involved after
installing Service Pack 2. This was no big deal, however now there is a
situation that is a big deal. Since installing Service Pack 2 when I access
Outlook Express the computer shuts down and then starts up again. When I am
able to access Outlook Express it asks me for my password which I supply and
then just keeps asking for my password without allowing me to access Outlook
Express. I finally opened Google and opened Outlook Express through the
task bar there. Can't understand why this should happen because I had no
problems accessing Outlook Express before installing Service Pack 2. I am
just about ready to uninstall Service Pack 2 but would appreciate any help
with this before I do.
Thanks,
Dave

You're using Outlook Express, click Newsgroups in the toolbar, type
outlookexpress in the search box and all the Outlook Express newsgroups
available on the server on which you're accessing this group will appear.
If you aren't accessing these groups through msnews and you find no Outlook
Express newsgroup, add the msnews server to Outlook Express,
msnews.microsoft.com, no password or authentication required; it's a free
and public server.
