Service Pack 2 won't update

I can not get Service Pack 2 to update on my computer.
Everytime it comes back with errors and then has to unload
itself becasue it does not complete properly. Any ideas
what I can do? Is this common?

A good start would be for you to expand on "comes back with errors" ... the
more details and the more exact the error messages the better.
