Service Pack 2 Uninstall

i did the Windows Update for the Service Pack 2 now i can't access excel or
powerpoint. It keeps asking for the OfficeXP Professional with Front Page CD.
this came installed on my Dell computer. Can i go in and remove the Service
Pack 2 files safely
 
Try asking them here before you do that.

Service Pack 2 should not be uninstalled. See the following

So go and put in the CD it asks for.
