Kurt,
Both
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/CurrentDL.aspx
and
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx
are fine on all my test machines (All XP or Server 2003) - HOWEVER
non of my machines are running wit the Sun Java VM. All have the
MSFT one.
Can you possibly retest without the SUN Java runtime ? I'll run up a
NT 4.0 machine and have a look on there.
Thanks Brian & Mike. But even using the MSJVM, I still get the same
message. But at least I found that alternate URL for non-IE browsers that
works.
I've been having to update machines that haven't been connected to the net,
but will be soon, and using the MS Security Update CD to gets me most of the
way there, and the Security Bulletin search is a good tool to get the rest
of the way to being patched before these computers go on-line.
It's just real weird because the computers where the link errors out, I had,
at one time, been able to get it to work.
Thanks again, guys. And if I figure out what the cause ends up being, I
report back.
