Service Pack 2 for XP Final Release

is the copy of XP SP2 Build 2600.xpsp2_RTM.040803-2158 going around the
internet a valid version?

i have 5 computers that need to go out and i would like to send them out in
the wild with SP2 Final.

Hi Ray,

There is a final build available to beta testers and MSDN subscribers. For
everyone else, it should be available in the next week or so. Do NOT trust
other sources, as it may have been modified to suit someone else's agenda
(like containing an unwanted trojan). Do yourself a favor and wait the final
few days for it to be available through the normal legitimate channels. The
price you may pay otherwise may be far higher.
