Hi all,
I have just read that service pack 2 is due to be released in September. I use the XP firewall on my PC & have read that you should disable other firewalls when installing it! Does anyone know if this will mean the XP one aswell? I also read that there is a whole new XP firewall interface that almost overides the current version. I just want to get well prepared since formatting my PC recently. Many thanks in advance.

No, you don't need to do this, this firewall is what XP SP2 will be
upgrading.

Yeah I think it is a lot better.

Hi Robert, many thanks for the quick reply, I don`t feel as worried now & it`s nice to feel that there are helpful people on hand, in case of problems!
Thanks again,

Ian.
