service pack 2 and norton antivirus

just loaded service pack 2, and it won't recognize that i
have norton anti virus installed with an up to date
subscription. SP tells me that my computer doesn't have
virus protection.

takes too long trying to get microsoft support. just lucky
i ended up here. my email addresses are:

There are updates at Symantec's site that will fix your problem, or live
update might do it as well.

You have to run Norton LiveUpdate AFTER you install SP2. It is not a
Microsoft problem. And now that you have posted your email address in the
clear on a newsgroup, you may as well cancel it. You will be barraged by
every bot, spammer and script kiddy that ever visits here.
