Service Pack 1 slowed system...

I downloaded SP1 and accepted the "archive existing
files" option. Download wizard said to choose "archive"
IF you ever might want to remove SP1. Wizard also warned
that archive used "significant" resources.

Apparently TRUE!

Many computer functions are now painfully slow.

Would adding memory help this problem?
