Does anybody know, if service pack 2 were to be
installed, would that wipe out service pack 1 and replace
it? I kinda feel that SP1 is better because it helps you
out more on performance reliability. SP2 is more
concentrated on protecting the computer instead. Does
anybody have any thoughts. Anything would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

dont worry by the time you get sp2 so many people will
be crying foul you wont won t to load it at all.

Service Pack 2 is cumulative, meaning that it includes all prior security
updates and bug fixes, including those previously made available in Service
Pack 1.

To put it another way: If someone has not installed Service Pack 1, that
will be included in Service Pack 2. If someone already has Service Pack 1,
only those security updates and bug fixes made subsequently will be
installed. Another good reason to get Service Pack 2 through Windows Update.
