Service fails to start

Each time Win XP starts the following service fails to
start for the stated reason:

The mrtRate service failed to start due to the following
error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

How can I determine what file is missing and replace it?

Sounds like a Widows 98 problem.

Are these installed on your machine?
Quicken 2000 or Quickbooks 2000 is installed on the computer.
The Quicken installation is damaged.
Have they ever been installed on your machine?
Have you done virus scans recently? If you have more info, post back.
