Service control

The mrtRate service will not start since I installed
McAfee virus scan yesterday. The event log error message
says that "The mrtRate service failed to start due to the
following error:
The system cannot find the file specified." The file it
is looking for is netevent.dll. That file is present.
Can anyone advise what the mrtRate service does? How
should I get it to start? Should I replace the
netevent.dll file? Thanks in advance for any help.

Yellowpike: Many thanks. It was related to Quicken,
specifically the backgroud download service. To date
Quicken support unable to advise how to disable the
service. There are some tech notes on the Quicken web
site, but they do not work. But thanks for pointing me in
the right direction. Alan
