I have started to run arcoss a lot of links that have this
as the root of their address. My browser refuses to
connect to any of them. Is there somthing I can do?

Are you using a HOSTS file such as the (very popular) one at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm ? bfast is blocked by that file. Other
programs such as IE-Spyad and SpywareBlaster may block it. At any rate, you
probably have a third-party program blocking bfast.

I'm not using any spy/adware blockers on my computer. I
do occasionally run ad-aware. And I use No-ads, but No
ad's only closes pop-ups that you designate. I've
chewcker and there's no reference to bfast in my noads
list. Is it possible to obtain a different hosts file. I
haven't changed mine that I know of (I don't know how).
