Looking for correct updated drivers.
Modem says it's OK but when you run diags on it - it will not connect.
Sound card - no driver available.

2nd problem: The modem use to be on com3 and is now on com1. When I tried to change it, it said com3 was in use.

I don't know why Microsoft did this. It seems they have left out all legacy drivers legacy meaning yesterday. The only way I know how to get around this is to update a Windows 2000 installation. Or ask in the microsoft.public.windows.server.general newsgroup. It seems that is where Windows 2003 users are getting the most help.
