can anyone recommend a reliable server for running sql 2000 asp net 1.1 and
2.0 ?

Dell and Compaq both make some decent servers.
The guy that runs the IT company in an office next to ours likes
Microtech.
If you want to "roll your own" you might check Gigabyte and buy the
components and program it your self.

However, if you're just looking for hosting, Google for "Microsoft
server hosting" as you will need a Windows based server to meet your
needs.
